Today, Truly announced the appointment of Jodie Yorg as its Chief Operating Officer. In this role, she will lead the company’s Go-To-Market execution across sales, customer success, and people operations.
Most recently, Jodie was the VP of Customer Success at Yelp, where she led an organizational transformation that improved retention, driving $7M incremental revenue in the first year. Prior to that, she served as a Sr. Director of Business operations where she worked on strategic projects, reporting directly to the company’s COO. During this time, Jodie also completed her executive MBA at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where she took on leadership roles at Women@Wharton.
In 2016, Jodie joined Square as the Head of Account Management during one of their most aggressive times of scale. Her team saw an increase in revenue of 172% with a 20% headcount increase, increased rep productivity by 28%, CSAT by 22%, employee engagement by 27% and launched a remote office, all in 13 months.
In her spare time, Jodie enjoys attending local renaissance fairs, dressing up for Halloween, or watching movies with her 4 children.
As one of Truly’s earliest customers, Jodie had a long standing relationship with the company, driving its strategic roadmap and advising the company through multiple years of 200% YOY growth.
